Our certificates for CNC milling machines

Each electric or electronic device receives and transmits electro-magnetic waves. By doing this these emitted interferences can have an interactive influence on the devices. Who does not know the crackling interference noises on radio or the striped television pictures. "Not disturb and not being disturbed" is simply the motto of the EU-guideline EMV, which has been prescribing the proof of a minimal electro-magnetic compatibility since 01.01.1996 in Europe. Since then the according CE-marking, as a proof of these minimum requirements , has been a legal duty for all electric and electronic devices. For a torch it is really easy to explain the maintenance of the protective aims according to EMV law, but for complicated products this task needs the support of qualified specialists with corresponding know-how and technical prerequisites.

Therefore all lines delivered by us are EMV-proofed and fulfil the requirements of norms for electro-magnetic compatibility (EMV).

The independent EMV-testing centre RS Schwarze has made an interfering field measurement in an absorber hall for our lines - with best results. The graphic illustration of the measuring values you can see below.

An EMV testing costs more than 5.000 Euro and therefore it is avoided by most manufaturers. But consequently the machines disturb the environment sensitively. The operation of those not-tested CNC machines is strongly forbidden in Germany. This means that these machines are nearly valueless for production, because legally you are not allowed to use them.

There are two steps of interfering field measuring: Step 1 concerns the industrial area. In this area the EMV requirements are high, but step 2 of EMV conformity, the privat area, even makes higher demands on operation and dejamming safety.

We have managed step 2 only in a second attempt, too. If you have a look at some machines offered on the Internet, we can say out of our experience that none of those machine would withstand such a testing.

It starts with the controlling housings and the allocations made of plastic at the machines, it continues with the plugs of the controls to the unshielded cables, which also, as regards the circuit cross-section, are dimensioned too small.

In order to maintain EMV standards we pay additional 160,00 EURO per machine and per control. This is additional money which we invest in you and in your machine, so that you do not have to think about this matter.
